Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Event Services professional in Baton Rouge to coordinate client needs with building staff for smooth event operations. You will hire and supervise part-time staff, oversee contractors and vendors, and ensure adherence to HR policies and safety standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of experience in event coordination, with strong customer service and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
• 2–3 years of related experience in event coordination or meeting planning; or equivalent.
• Customer/guest service experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high-pressure schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ascertain client requirements for event setup and ensure proper execution by facilities staff.
• Hire, supervise, and schedule part-time staff for the Event Services Department.
• Oversee events, contractors, vendors, and operations to ensure all requirements are met.
• Process payroll using ADP eTime and maintain event records and paperwork.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly working conditions and assist with office admin duties.
