Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for the Fulltime Event Coordinator position at Destination El Paso featuring nationally recognized venues including: El Paso Convention Center, Abraham Chavez Theatre, Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Centre, McKelligon Canyon Apitheather.

Under general supervision, manage, coordinate, plan and execute all event related needs for clients contracted with Destination El Paso.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in hospitality, business, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• One year professional experience in event management and/or venue operations; convention center experience preferred.
• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, plan and execute all event related needs for clients contracted with Destination El Paso.
• Ensure overall success and client retention through outstanding customer service.
• Schedule event staff and coordinate day-to-day operations for events and projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, monitor final billing, and settle event costs with clients timely.
• Maintain event-related reports, information, and files; communicate detailed requirements to operations teams.
