You will communicate with families, foster an inclusive classroom culture, and ensure compliance with ESL/ELL requirements while contributing to a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• State teaching license/certification (Tennessee or Mississippi) or plan to enroll in approved alternative program.
• Strong ability to navigate instructional technology and data systems.
• Ability to design and deliver instruction using digital tools and platforms.
• Openness to frequent, actionable feedback as part of a continuous improvement culture.
• Maintain professionalism and emotional composure in high-pressure situations.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction for ESL learners with appropriate scaffolding.
• Set ambitious language goals, monitor progress, and provide actionable feedback.
• Analyze data and collaborate with general education teachers to implement targeted supports.
• Build partnerships with scholars and families through proactive communication.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment addressing academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Maintain ESL/ELL compliance, reporting and documentation as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align instruction and expectations.
• Perform additional duties to support school and scholar success.
