LEAD Public Schools, Inc. seeks a High School ELL Teacher in Nashville, TN. This full-time certified teaching position offers a salary range of $55,000 to $100,000 annually, with a performance-based compensation plan and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate loves supporting English Learners, collaborates well with teams, and is committed to helping students meet Tennessee standards. A valid Tennessee ELL endorsement or transfer-ready license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred, but not required.
• New to teaching teachers encouraged to apply!
• Previous experience with diverse student populations or in an urban setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Candidates must have either Tennessee teaching license with the appropriate content endorsement to teach ELL, or a valid out of state license that can be transferred within 90 days, or be on track to certification in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement rigorous unit plans and lessons aligned to standards and objectives.
• Participate in bi-weekly coaching meetings to internalize content, teaching moves, and classroom management.
• Collaborate with grade level teams, content teams, and professional development.
• Execute school-based duties including conferences, arrivals/dismissals, transitions, lunch duty, as assigned.
