Emcareers invites applications for an ER Physician to provide emergency medical care in a fast-paced setting in Florida. The physician will handle patients of all ages, perform H&P and exams, interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans with a focus on rapid, quality care.

The role emphasizes timely decision-making, collaboration with mid-level providers, and adherence to facility metrics and protocols to minimize unnecessary admissions while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Accurately treat patients of ALL ages with mild to moderate medical complaints
• Perform H&P (history and physical)
• Perform Physical Exams
• Make quality medical decisions
• Interpret diagnostic tests (lab, imaging, EKG) accurately
• Generate a quality treatment plan
• Write appropriate prescriptions
• Perform typical Emergency Room procedures (I&D, sutures, pelvic exams)
• Arrange appropriate follow-up within our facility or with a specialist
• Review and plan care based on external diagnostic results
• Support Mid-Level providers on shift
• Provide quality patient care with door-to-provider time <30 minutes
• Meet facility metrics (Ultrasound in pregnancy, Troponin/TAT, Door to EKG)
• Use in-house protocols to avoid unnecessary admissions
• Know and practice organizational values
