Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to lead the servicing of company and customer equipment in a timely and effective manner.

You will manage repairs, organize the yard for Ready to Rent and Returned units, and coordinate parts and service calls while ensuring stringent safety and quality standards. The role requires a strong background in equipment maintenance, planning and supervision, plus the ability to train staff mechanics and collaborate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and extensive repair experience on self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Strong planning, scheduling and supervisory capabilities.
• Good computer literacy and ability to manage inventories and reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment, organizing yard readiness.
• Prepare work schedules and handle service calls to meet customer needs and keep equipment available.
• Order parts to maintain adequate supplies and support repairs.
• Provide training and assistance to staff mechanics and teamwork with vendors.
• Evaluate equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks and document status.
• Maintain service records, create and close work orders, and manage warranty claims.
