Qualifications

• Master's Degree in English or related discipline (or Master's with 18 English graduate hours)
• Minimum 2 years teaching at college level or 3 years at secondary level in English/Language Arts
• Experience teaching in 2 Year College, Technical College, Community College, or HBCU institutions
• Excellent communication, both written and oral
• Experience working with a diverse student population; able to convey ideas clearly
• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom (LMS, digital tools, online resources)

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures to assigned courses and prepare course materials
• Lead and moderate classroom discussions and deliver lectures face-to-face and/or online
• Contribute to development of new courses, syllabi, and assessments
