Location

Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.

Job Summary

The Part-Time English Instructor must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process. The candidate must also have the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed.

The responsibilities for the position include teaching assigned courses, preparing and delivering lectures in a face-to face and/or online environment, leading and moderating classroom discussions and contributing to the department¿s activities.

Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in English, Master's in a related discipline, or Master's degree with 18 hours of English at the graduate level.

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the college level or 3 years at the secondary level in the area of English/Language Arts.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching in 2 year College, Technical College, Community College, or HBCU institutions.

  • Excellent communication, both written and oral, and the ability to convey ideas clearly.
