Job summary

MoFo's Employment + Labor Group seeks a talented attorney with 4–6 years of litigation-focused experience to advise clients on employment law compliance, disputes, and investigations in California.

The ideal candidate will be admitted to the California Bar (or eligible to waive in), demonstrate excellent writing and client-relations skills, and have experience handling wage-hour, discrimination, and related matters with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–6 years of experience with litigation at the core of practice.
• Provide high-level advice to clients on employment law compliance issues and disputes.
• Experience defending companies in wage & hour, discrimination, and pay equity matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level advice and counsel on employment law compliance issues.
• Litigate trade secret/employee mobility, whistleblower, and related disputes.
• Defend companies in complex employment actions in state and federal court.
• Conduct workplace investigations involving C-suite and above.
• Perform due diligence on employment issues in transactions.
• Negotiate executive employment and separation agreements.
