Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of work experience related to the care and development of children.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must comply with Act 33, including child abuse history documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing a daily program of activities.
• Maintain a safe and healthful learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and program staff.

Skills

Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate activities

Strong communication skills

Ability to relate well to young children

Ability to supervise adults

Knowledge of CPR, First Aid, and AED

Education
