Job summary

The BASIS Ed in the Austin Metro area is seeking an Early Education Teacher to join our bright, passionate team and deliver high-quality instruction to young learners while supporting families.

The role emphasizes evaluating student progress, differentiating instruction, implementing IEPs/504 plans, communicating with parents, and collaborating with specialists, with opportunities to participate in school events.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject.
• Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance through TEA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, keep records, and prepare progress reports.
• Communicate with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress.
• Identify student needs and cooperate with Subject Experts to assess and help students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
• Provide differentiated instruction and execute IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity.
• Substitute/duty coverage as needed.
• Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day.
• Occasionally represent BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours.
