Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject.
• Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA.
• Master’s degree in Education or related subject (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of elementary teaching experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating students’ academic and social growth, keeping records, and preparing progress reports
• Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress
• Identifying student needs and cooperating with subject experts or other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems
• Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEP’s and 504 Plans with fidelity
• Substitute/duty coverage as needed
• Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day
• Occasionally represent BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours

Education
