Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 ECE units, including core classes.
• Associate Teacher Level Permit required.
• At least 1 year of related experience in the last four years.
• DRDP Rater Certification within three months of hire.
• CLASS training; PITC training within 1 year for Infant/Toddler educators.
• ERS Training within 6 months of hire.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds and maintain licensing status.

Responsibilities

• Serve in Lead Teacher's absence with classroom management.
• Follow daily schedule supporting child development and motor skills.
• Engage in DAP interactions to foster social skills.
• Build relationships with children and families.
• Participate in New Family Orientation and transition plans.
• Complete health checks, DRDP, ASQ/ERS documentation.
• Maintain CLASS scores and safe sleep procedures.
• Lead nap/rest routines and supervise infant care as needed.
• Guide and supervise Classroom Assistants and staff.
• Assist with drills: fire, earthquake, intruder.
• Ensure a safe environment and protect confidentiality.
• Attend ongoing professional development per standards.
