Job summary

Friendship Community Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated childcare worker to provide direct and indirect care and education for children, and to help carry out plans of care while maintaining a safe, stimulating environment.

You will follow FCC procedures, maintain accurate progress notes in Credible, supervise children at all times, work with parents and staff, ensure proper staff/child ratios, and participate in required trainings, meetings, and HIPAA/compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehending simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Writing simple correspondence.
• Presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Assures Quality Standards of Care for Early Childhood programs per Our standards.
• Creates and maintains a safe, educational environment.
• Maintains required records and progress notes in Credible.
• Directly supervises children at all times.
• Stays informed of each child’s records to ensure authorized pickups.
• Engages actively with children and families.
• Maintains staff/child ratio reports and updates supervisor as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Attends trainings, staff meetings, and required duties.
• Reports abuse/neglect signs promptly and follows escalation procedures.
