Job summary

AEG is seeking a Dock Expeditor to support Campus loading dock operations, ensuring timely deliveries of food, materials, and stage equipment. The role requires proactive problem-solving, physical stamina, and coordination with drivers, hotel and show staff, and campus teams.

The position involves 24/7 operations, forklift use, and adherence to safety policies. Strong English communication and two years of related experience are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.).
• Must have two (2) years related work experience.
• Previous experience in event production and logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (in person, on-line and by phone).
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time of up to 6 hours with or without accommodations.
• Must be able to lift/carry/pull/push up to 35lbs.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Control truck traffic, dock access and movement of supplies, deliveries, and equipment into and out of the Campus loading dock areas.
• Monitor, report and assist with maintaining safety and functionality of all service areas, to include building service corridors, service elevators and foyers.
• Ensure tenants and vendors operate in accordance with all policies pertaining to the loading dock.
• Assist the Dock Master with assigned duties.
• Communicate and problem solve access issues in a professional manner and maintain productive and supportive relationships with Campus tenants, third party vendors, security, engineering and hotel teams.
• Provide operational support to all departments of Campus Operations. Assist with emergency situations as needed.
• Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are followed and report any issues to Campus management.
• Maintain cleanliness in the back of house areas, removing waste materials, pallets, food compost, etc.
