Job summary

Trimac is seeking a Dispatcher based in Bayport, Texas, to coordinate load plans with drivers and customers and ensure safety-focused operations. The role emphasizes timely decisions, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication across teams.

You will work under the Dispatch Manager to optimize daily operations, manage equipment movements, and maintain accurate records in the TMW system. Experience in transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related experience and/or training in logistics or dispatch.
• Experience in a fast-paced transportation environment.
• Experience using TMW and other systems.
• Post-secondary education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Communicate load plans to drivers and customers.
• Ensure drivers have proper instructions for safe operations.
• Listen to driver concerns and address them promptly.
• Support daily operations through dispatch activities and equipment/freight coordination.
• Maintain up-to-date dispatch screens and accurate load details in TMW.
• Audit TMW reports for compliance and communicate changes to the Branch Manager.
