YMCA of Greater Cleveland seeks a dedicated Dance Instructor to design and teach engaging dance classes (ballet, hip-hop, jazz, tap, or other) for youth and adults. You will ensure safety, select suitable music, lead energetic sessions, and maintain equipment and attendance records.

The role requires teaching with enthusiasm, demonstrating skills, and providing modifications for participants' abilities. Occasional travel to branches may be required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience teaching dance is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and teach safe, enjoyable dance classes.
• Select music and tempo appropriate for class.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness.
• Record attendance accurately.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings.
• Be punctual and prepared 5 minutes before class.
• Provide modifications to suit participants' abilities.
• Promote YMCA programs and events.
• Act as a mandated reporter for child safety.
• Travel to multiple branches if required.
