Qualifications

• 1+ year in customer service, logistics, warehouse, dispatch, or admin environment preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with questions, requests, and concerns
• Schedule inbound and outbound truck and rail activity
• Schedule and confirm pickup and delivery appointments
• Dispatch orders and provide drivers and vendors with necessary paperwork and instructions
• Verify customer product pickups and deliveries
• Receive products into inventory and monitor inventory levels
• Maintain accurate customer, vendor, and inventory information in company databases
• Create and distribute daily warehouse and shipping reports
• Prepare customer inventory activity reports
• Build and maintain computerized distribution lists
• Coordinate with warehouse employees and other departments regarding customer and shipping needs
• Complete customer invoicing
• Process and track EDI/ASN transmissions
• Document incidents, accidents, service failures, and claims
• Maintain a clean and professional office environment
• Participate in cross-training, meetings, and continuing education as needed
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
