Auburn University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month Culinary Lecturer in Hospitality and Culinary Science, starting August 2027. This non-tenure eligible position is housed in the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management within the College of Human Sciences.

The lecturer will teach 3-4 undergraduate courses and labs each semester, advise students, and contribute to curriculum development.

Qualificações

• Master of Science in Hospitality Management or related field at time of employment.
• Minimum 3 years of culinary experience.
• At least 3 years of undergraduate hospitality teaching experience.
• Evidence of academic advising and recruitment experience.
• Must meet eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Teach 3-4 undergraduate courses and supporting labs each semester.
• Assist undergraduate academic advising.
• Help form School policies related to the undergraduate curriculum.
• No requirement to develop or maintain independent research.
• Annual review by the School Head with potential promotion to Senior Lecturer.
