Job summary

PDO is seeking a Project Designer for our Phoenix-metro office. The role requires strong AutoCAD and SketchUp skills with 3–5 years in commercial interior design. You will collaborate with the design team to develop interior design concepts, produce renderings, and manage client-focused presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required.
• 3–5 years of architectural interiors experience in a corporate workplace.
• Strong AutoCAD and SketchUp (and/or Revit) skills and problem solving.
• Experience with space planning, design detailing and construction docs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document interior design concepts for corporate workplaces.
• Create mood boards, finish plans, digital boards and graphics for presentations.
• Produce 3-D renderings in SketchUp (VRay) and Revit (Enscape).
• Space plan small and large areas and ensure building code compliance.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and site clarifications; coordinate approvals.
• Assist with budgets, schedules, staffing, and fee proposals.
