Qualifications

• BS or BFA in Interior Design.
• Experience with AutoCAD / Revit.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook).
• Knowledge of commercial furniture and planning standards.
• 1 to 3 years of contract furniture industry experience.
• Experience with CET and CAP 2020 Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design process: work with salesperson, customer, and Designers to create and present plans that meet client's needs and budget.
• Site review: measure site, check plan-to-site accuracy, inventory existing product, produce as-built drawings/specifications, reconfigure as needed.
• Specification: prepare drawings for installation, generate product specifications, verify specifications against plans, use electronic specification program
• Manage changes and revisions throughout the design process
• Support product proposal presentations to customers
• Keep electronic project documentation, including key decisions, conversations, approvals, sign-offs, and meeting notes
• Communicate regularly to customer and dealership regarding design project status
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Design
