DGA in Orange County is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead commercial and corporate projects from concept through occupancy. You will mentor teammates, influence design decisions, and ensure coordination with architectural details and schedules.

The role requires strong expertise in construction documents, space planning, and client presentations, with a focus on sustainability and quality deliverables. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial interior design experience with architectural detailing and documentation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited design school.
• Advanced knowledge of all interior design phases for corporate projects from concept to occupancy.
• Experience with construction administration and review of submittals and finish samples.

Responsabilités

• Exhibit advanced interior design concepts and integrate with architectural design.
• Prepare contract documents: floor plans, details, reflected ceilings, millwork, furniture layouts, finishes, schedules.
• Create materials/models for client presentations with critical judgement.
• Develop graphic communication to illustrate design concepts.
• Influence spatial layout, color, light, texture, and scale.
• Research manufacturers; select colors, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture; ensure sustainability goals.
• Provide programming and space planning analysis and area calculations.
• Complete tasks on projects within schedule and budget, in an organized manner.
• Review work for accuracy, omissions, and document compliance.
• Participate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups; coordinate meetings with clients.
