Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an associate to join our corporate practice with 3-6 years’ experience advising clients on corporate insurance matters, including placements and claim management for D&O insurance, representations & warranties insurance, cyberliability, and other lines of insurance.

We primarily seek to fill this position in our Palo Alto, San Francisco, or New York offices, though strong candidates for other U.S. locations will be considered. This is not a remote work position.

Qualifications

• JD and law degree required.
• Admitted to practice in the state they office.
• 3+ years of direct experience at AmLaw 100 firm or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case/transaction preparation.
• Draft briefs, motions, contracts and correspondence with accuracy.
• Assist/manage complex cases/transactions from inception to resolution.
