Job summary

MMI Industrial & Steel in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Project Coordinator to support field and office operations in a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

This role collaborates with the Project Superintendent, Project Managers, field crews, subcontractors, clients, and general contractors to help ensure projects stay on schedule, meet quality standards, and remain properly documented.

Qualifications

Experience or education in construction or fabrication industries.
Strong computer skills with MS Office.
Ability to read construction/fabrication drawings.
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Experience with Tekla, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support field operations and coordinate project activities with Superintendents and Project Managers.
Maintain project schedules and objectives; monitor progress and blockers.
Manage RFIs, submittals, drawings, meeting minutes, and logs.
Generate reports on manpower, quantities, and productivity.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Identify and help resolve field constraints and schedule impacts.
