Job summary

Strong communication and detailed record-keeping are essential. Requirements include 3+ years in construction estimating and knowledge of metal stud framing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in construction estimating.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of metal stud framing and drywall.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as The Edge, Onscreen Takeoff/QuickBid, Bluebeam, Planswift.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, and related scopes.
• Prepare comprehensive bids based on project specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with general contractors and vendors for pricing and terms.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, contracts, and documents.
