Job summary

Cambridge Savings Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to prepare credit analysis documents and underwriting packages for commercial loans. You will review financial statements, appraisals, and related documents to identify risks and policy requirements, under modest supervision.

The role focuses on C&I, CRE, and ABL exposures and involves collaborating with lending officers and portfolio managers to craft solid credit recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred or 2+ years in banking/financial services.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely with strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit analysis documents identifying risks and policy requirements.
• Spread and interpret financial statements and appraisals for loan underwriting.
• Collaborate with lending officers on credit structure recommendations.
• Apply Commercial Lending Policy to loan requests and maintain rating accuracy.
• Attend client calls and build professional relationships.
