Job summary

Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support nurses and clinicians, prepare charts, and assist with patient care and testing. You will manage supplies, operate EMR systems, and help with patient education while maintaining HIPAA privacy.

Responsibilities include chart prep, vital signs, phlebotomy, injections, referrals, and insurance verifications, with non-exempt status and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Licensed/registered in applicable state and active in good standing.
• BLS certification required upon hire and must stay current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes and setting up equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and medical history.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and assist with minor clinical procedures.
• Handle point-of-care testing and administer medications/vaccinations.
• Maintain inventory, clean instruments, and manage lab reporting and referrals.
