Job summary

Central Ohio Urology Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced ambulatory clinic in Gahanna, OH. You will room patients, verify identifiers, collect vitals, run UA/PVRs, and support lab orders and documentation. A strong CMA with 3+ years in ambulatory settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 3+ consecutive years as a CMA in ambulatory clinic or hospital within last 5 years.
• Ability to think critically, act decisively and maintain calm in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and verify identifiers (DOB).
• Obtain and document vitals (BP, height, weight, pulse, temp).
• Collect specimens; perform UA and PVRs.
• Educate on proper urine sample collection.
• Document in patient chart accurately and timely.
• Collect and review patient health history.
• Medication reconciliation.
• Send labs (cytology, cultures).
• Place requisitions and orders as directed.
• Assist with administrative and clinic-support tasks.
