Dayton Physicians Network is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join its independent Urology practice. The CMA will support physicians with patient care, vital signs, documentation, and lab follow-up, while maintaining efficient patient flow.

The role emphasizes patient communication, accuracy in medical records, and adherence to privacy and safety standards. Schedule is Monday to Friday with flexible shift lengths, offering work/life balance and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A two-year degree from a college or technical school is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• One year of medical assistant experience preferred (2-4 years).
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and assists with patient flow.
• Administers medications and performs physician-directed procedures.
• Documents vital signs and medical history in the electronic medical record.
• Notifies physicians of test results and follow-ups.
• Relays instructions to patients and families and manages supplies.
• Maintains logs and adheres to privacy and safety rules.
