The position requires completion of student teaching and coursework to obtain the ISBE teaching certificate, and possession of a valid ISBE license (PEL or ELS). Strong communication with families is essential.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching requirements and coursework to obtain the ISBE teaching certificate.
• Valid Illinois State Board of Education license: PEL or ELS.

Responsabilités

• Plan instruction and write lesson plans aligned to objectives.
• Establish positive learning expectations and evaluate pupil progress.
• Apply teaching methods using available materials and develop new techniques.
• Maintain attendance records, seating charts, and conduct under the Uniform Discipline Code.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and participate in meetings.
