Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching requirements and coursework to obtain the Illinois teacher certificate.
• License must include one of the following: Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS).
• Knowledge of subject matter, classroom management, and effective instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan instruction and prepare written lesson plans aligned with program objectives.
• Deliver engaging lessons and monitor pupil progress with accurate records.
• Assess student performance and maintain attendance and seating charts.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and conduct.
• Participate in in-service meetings and school activities; may coordinate field trips.
