Job summary

KidStrong Mason is seeking a talented Childrens Coach to engage with families and coach children aged 12 months to 11 years. You will deliver brain, physical, and character development activities aligned with the evolving monthly curriculum and interact with parents to explain the “why” behind the methods.

Classes run on weekdays and some weekends with flexible scheduling. Prior pediatric coaching or related experience is a plus; CPR certification is required, and you will join a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
• Prior experience coaching students within the KidStrong age range is preferred.
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified and prepared for safety oversight.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter who proactively completes tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups from 12 months to 11 years.
• Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by HQ programming team.
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule and follow the curriculum pace.
• Greet students and parents/guardians at the start of each class.
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, professional demeanor during sessions.
• Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises.
• Maintain cleanliness of the center, lobby, bathrooms, and floors.
• Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide parent records.
• Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack.
• Complete training through FranConnect as required by HQ.
• Work in a physically intensive environment and move equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Hands-on coaching to ensure proper technique and safety.
• Assist parents of students ages three and younger with class flow.
• Attend monthly center staff meetings for curriculum training.
• Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required.
