KidStrong Polaris is rapidly growing, and we're looking for a talented, enthusiastic Childrens Coach who is passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.

Our program emphasizes brain, physical, and character development through the evolving monthly curriculum, with classes most weekdays and occasional weekends. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking with parents about the curriculum and ensuring safe, engaging sessions.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred.
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter who just gets a job done.

Responsibilities

• Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups 12 months to 11 years.
• Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by HQ programming team.
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule and follow the curriculum pace.
• Greet students and parents/guardians at the start of class.
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor.
• Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises.
• Keep the center clean and sanitized at the end of shifts.
• Record class data and provide records for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
• Communicate professionally with co-workers via Slack.
• Complete training through FranConnect as required by HQ.
• Work in a physically intensive environment and assist with equipment.
