Job summary

KidStrong Southeast PA is seeking an energetic Childrens Coach to engage with both kids and parents and make a positive impact on their development. The role involves guiding classes that focus on brain, physical, and character growth within a monthly curriculum.

Classes run on weekdays, with morning, evening, and weekend sessions. There is potential for flexible scheduling and additional private coaching hours. Prior coaching experience with kids and strong communication with parents are valued.

Qualifications

• Prior experience coaching students within the KidStrong age range (12 months–11 years) preferred.
• Ability to engage with parents about the curriculum and the why behind it.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must be physically able to move equipment up to 25 pounds and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children aged roughly 12 months to 11 years.
• Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by HQ.
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule and maintain proper pace.
• Greet students and parents at the beginning of class.
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, professional demeanor throughout the session.
• Demonstrate and supervise exercises and progressions.
• Keep the center clean and sanitize equipment after use.
• Use the KS Coach App to record attendance and parent notes.
• Communicate professionally via Slack and other channels.
• Attend required training and staff meetings.
• Support special classes like Coach KidStrong Academy when needed.
