Centro de la Familia de Utah is seeking an entry-level childcare assistant to support in classrooms and play areas, promoting a safe and engaging environment for children aged 0-5.

You will work under the Education Specialist, with opportunities to assist in transportation, kitchen operations, and family services. Prior education is welcome but not required; CPR/First Aid and Food Handler permits are expected within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• No formal education or experience required; enthusiasm for working with children is key.
• Must be at least 18 years old to embark on this journey.
• Physical demands include walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with floor seating, crawling, running, and caring for children aged 0-5.
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are a plus.
• A CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education is advantageous and may be pursued within six months.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler permits required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide classroom support and help supervise a safe playground and classroom environment.
• Assist with transportation, kitchen operations, family services, and developmental specialties as needed.
• Support health, safety, and school readiness for young learners through age-appropriate activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and Education Specialist to implement curriculum and activities.
• Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and respectful interactions in all settings.
