Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Associate degree or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of promotional, special events, advertising, hospitality, or sales experience.
• Gaming or hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work any shift to cover events.
• Strong grammar and proofreading skills.
• Able to plan, organize, and complete multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Ability to interact with upset/irate guests effectively.
• Comfortable speaking to large crowds under spotlights.
• Proficient with computers and learning new software quickly.
• Must obtain a gaming license with the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, promote, facilitate, and supervise property special events (on and off property).
• Assist in creating/proofing promotional rules and advertising material across channels, including social media.
• Assist with evaluation of special events and promotional drawings.
• Manage communications for promotional and entertainment efforts with casino teams.
• Research competitors' marketing programs and efforts.
• Support teammates and foster a positive, energetic work environment.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous manner and handle guest opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, management, and media, in written and verbal form.
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards.
