Job summary

Motlow State Community College is accepting applications for an Adjunct Business Faculty pool position. The instructor will provide high-quality, standards-based instruction in accordance with catalog descriptions and approved syllabi across assigned courses.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in the discipline or a qualifying field; doctoral degree and CC teaching experience are preferred. Travel to multiple campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in discipline or qualifying field earned from a regionally accredited institution by the application date.
• 18 graduate semester hours in discipline or a qualifying field earned from a regionally accredited college or university by the application date.
• Doctoral degree in discipline or qualifying field (preferred) and 3 years CC teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned and travel to multiple campuses.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricula and program needs.
• Support college operations and student success initiatives.
• Maintain current knowledge of teaching discipline and incorporate updates into instruction.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester as assigned.
• Communicate with students and participate in department meetings.
• Submit required paperwork timely and comply with policies.
