Job summary

The Tennessee Board of Regents seeks a 9‑month, tenure‑track Faculty member to teach Business and Accounting at Chattanooga State campus. This full‑time position involves delivering courses day or evening, in online and on‑ground formats, at multiple sites within the college service area.

Under supervision of the Management Department Head and Dean, the instructor will develop curricula, maintain syllabi, and support student advising and success, while advancing teaching excellence and program

Qualifications

• MBA or MBA with 18 graduate hours in Accounting.
• Master’s in Business Administration from a regionally accredited institution.
• Preferred: community college teaching experience and ability to teach Business and/or Accounting courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach day or evening classes (credit or non‑credit) in Business and Accounting.
• Develop and revise courses and curricula; maintain updated syllabi.
• Use current technology in instruction; deliver online and on‑ground formats.
• Advise students; assist in recruitment, placement, and evaluation.
• Support college and division committees and accreditation activities.
