Job summary

2020 Companies is hiring full-time Brand Ambassadors to represent a premium tobacco brand at retail locations throughout the territory, including Lansing, MI. You will engage adult consumers in one-on-one conversations, introduce brand offerings, gather feedback, and distribute promotional offers to create memorable experiences.

No tobacco industry experience is required beyond a great personality and confidence in engaging with people.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in brand ambassador, retail sales, customer service, hospitality, events marketing or promotional marketing preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled retail activations within an assigned geographic territory.
• Engage adult tobacco consumers in compliant conversations about tobacco products.
• Verify age eligibility and ensure all interactions comply with policies and local regulations.
• Administer consumer surveys and collect market feedback and insights.
• Distribute approved promotional materials and consumer offers, including coupons and incentives.
• Educate consumers on available promotions and drive engagement.
• Build positive relationships with retail personnel and store management.
• Document activity results and survey completion in reporting systems.
• Travel throughout the territory to support scheduled retail visits and events.
