The role requires completing substitute teacher training, teaching LifeWise classes as needed, implementing provided lesson plans, maintaining a safe and orderly classroom, and adhering to LifeWise policies and discipline

Qualifications

• Active Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain Records.
• Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher.
• Maintain Classroom.
• Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Communicate.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties.
• Communicate with the teacher.
