Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the "What We Believe" section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain attendance records and provide attendance records to the teacher
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom and know procedures for emergency situations
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and with the teacher
