Job summary

Torchy's is hiring a Bartender in Sugar Land, TX to deliver a Damn Good experience. Provide full-service dining with menu knowledge and cocktails crafted to Torchy's recipes, ensuring quality and consistency while engaging guests and guiding their choices.

You'll maintain a clean bar, restock supplies, and collaborate with the team to guarantee smooth service. Prior experience preferred; a current alcohol-server license is required; flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• A current required state alcohol-server license (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ABLE).
• Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on business needs.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.

Responsibilities

• Guest interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Cocktail preparation: Mix and serve cocktails following Torchy's recipes, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Menu knowledge: Learn the menu and be able to make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Service excellence: Provide prompt and efficient service, handling orders accurately and ensuring guests have what they need.
• Bar maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies as needed and adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
