Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa is seeking a dynamic Bartender to provide service excellence in a high-energy hotel bar. You will craft drinks, engage guests, verify ages, and manage bar cleanliness and setup while supporting a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include preparing beverages to standards, handling payments, and monitoring for responsible service. This tipped position offers growth within a renowned hospitality group and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.

Responsibilities

• Set up bar with required liquor, juices, garnishes, and supplies.
• Keep bar, glassware and utensils clean and sanitized.
• Verify guests are of legal drinking age.
• Prepare drinks according to bar standards and guest preferences.
• Present the bill and process payment.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor for overconsumption and take appropriate action.
• Lock up and store all beverage and equipment; handle cash drops.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
