Job summary

Doubletree by Hilton- Colorado Springs is seeking a banquet bartender with a positive customer service mindset to ensure patrons have a wonderful time at hotel functions. You will take customer orders, prepare cocktails, and offer beer and wine recommendations while keeping the bar area neat.

In this fast-paced role you will also verify IDs, handle payments through the POS, and assist with inventory and restocking. A customer-focused attitude and good communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service
• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system
• Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non‑alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
• Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management.
• Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
• Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
