Job summary

Scholastic in New York, NY seeks a part-time Audiovisual Temp to manage day-to-day operations in the conference center and support virtual events and recordings. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of related experience, a bachelor’s in a technical field, and proficiency with MacOS/Windows, MS Office, Zoom, StreamYard, and Adobe

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in MacOS, Windows, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Zoom, Teams, StreamYard, ZenCastr, Riverside.fm, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Must know basics of projection systems and interfacing with computers and video devices.
• Must be able to set up and operate PA systems, video cameras, and lighting unaided.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a related position; Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate audiovisual equipment for meetings and special events.
• Video and audio editing and post-production with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition and Pro Tools.
• Setup and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for Auditorium and live events.
• Schedule and run virtual events and virtual recording sessions.
• Maintain equipment inventory and perform preventative maintenance.
