Job summary

Gene B. Glick Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our Evansville apartment community. You will assist the Property Manager to maintain cash flow, ensure property standards, and manage the site in the manager's absence.

The role involves resident communications, scheduling tours, processing applications, rent collection, and ensuring regulatory compliance, all while delivering excellent customer service to residents and prospects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Property management experience preferred.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Valid driver's license required in the resident state.
• Available to work weekends and travel for training/meetings.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answer resident and prospect inquiries by phone and email.
• Schedule tours to show model or vacant units and explain terms.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and renewals.
• Close sales, collect deposits, and process applications.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ensure HUD and Fair Housing compliance.
• Assist with rent collection and address delinquencies.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Protect confidentiality of resident data.
