Job summary

Gene B. Glick Company seeks an Assistant Property Manager for Briarwood of Lexington, a 204-unit community. Support the Property Manager to maintain cash flow, uphold company standards, and ensure resident satisfaction with operations and leasing activities.

You will handle inquiries, tours, move-ins/outs, and applications, while ensuring compliance with HUD and Fair Housing rules. Strong communication, organization, and a willingness to travel for training are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Property Management experience preferred.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to work weekends and travel for training.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and email inquiries from residents and prospects.
• Schedule appointments to show the community to potential residents.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, certifications, and renewals.
• Greet prospects and conduct tours, explain terms of occupancy.
• Close sales, collect deposits, and process applications.
• Follow up with prospects to lease or place on waiting list.
• Determine eligibility following government regulations.
• Assist with marketing surveys and rent collection.
• Investigate issues and resolve problems per rules and regs.
• Prepare records, reports, and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate information with other departments and HUD compliance.
