The position requires a Master’s in Exercise and Sport Science (or related field); a Doctoral degree is preferred. Labs experience in EXSS and collaboration with undergraduate students are expected, with involvement in service and committees.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science or related field.
• Ability to teach exercise physiology, testing and prescription, strength and conditioning, introduction to EXSS.
• Experience developing and teaching labs in exercise physiology, testing and prescription, and strength and conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Teach the equivalent of 1.0 FTE each academic year.
• Advise EXSS students as assigned.
• Develops and maintains a line of scholarship with annual peer-reviewed dissemination (presentations and/or publications).
• Collaborate and mentor undergraduate EXSS students with research.
• Serve on departmental, HSSH, and/or university-elected committees.
• Perform service within the field of expertise (reviews, editorial boards, etc.).
