Heeter Printing Co. seeks an Assembly & Fulfillment Manager to lead day-to-day hand assembly and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced production setting.

The role focuses on people management, workflow, quality, and meeting deadlines within the assembly area. This hands-on leadership position requires organizing work, managing labor, solving problems quickly, and keeping jobs moving safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Front-line leadership and people-management experience.
• Ability to organize people and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to respond quickly to production issues.
• Experience improving workflows, productivity, and quality.
• Ability to train, coach, cross-train, and develop employees.
• Commitment to a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment.
• Familiarity with production software and systems; Proficiency with Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily Assembly operation, staffing, workflow, productivity, quality, and on-time completion.
• Manage, coach, and develop Assembly employees, set clear expectations and accountability.
• Review workloads and ensure staffing to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate temporary and flex labor while controlling labor costs and overtime.
• Monitor production, identify bottlenecks, and take action to keep work moving.
• Ensure assembly jobs meet customer quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain efficient, repeatable assembly processes and work instructions.
• Promote cross-training to create a flexible workforce.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized Assembly environment.
• Collaborate with Production Coordinators and other departments to meet deadlines.
• Support new assembly and fulfillment programs with effective production processes.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and labor utilization.
• Participate in Heeter Safety Committee and support safety initiatives.
