Qualifications

• Have successfully completed a substitute teacher training course to obtain a WV Substitute Teacher Certification
• Must Pass a Background Check
• Hold or be eligible for WV Professional Teaching Certificate, Restricted Substitute Permit, Short-Term Permit or Long-Term Substitute Permit

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Utilize best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues; Perform other duties as assigned.
